SUBJECT:	REFERRAL TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD/COMMUNITY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE - DISCUSSION REGARDING PEDESTRIAN SAFETY ON THE BEACHWALK.

ANALYSIS

Referral to the Neighborhood/Community Affairs Committee: Discussion regarding pedestrian safety on the Beachwalk.

We have received concerns from residents that sharing the Beachwalk with bicycles, scooters and in some cases vehicles has become dangerous due to the high speed that some motorists choose to travel.

We would like to ensure that our beautiful Beachwalk is safe and enjoyable for all and find a solution that makes sure motorists are traveling at a safe and considerate manner.
