The attached Resolution formally adopts the Certificate of results of the City of Miami Beach November 5, 2019 General Election.
With regard to City Commission Groups IV, V, and VI, no candidate received a majority of the votes cast as required by Sec. 2.01 of the City Charter. Therefore, a Run-off Election will be held on November 19, 2019 as authorized by Resolution No. 2019-30895, and early voting therefor shall be conducted as provided by Resolution No. 2019-30896.
The Run-off Election results for City Commissioner Group IV, V, and VI will be adopted by the Miami Beach City Commission on November 25, 2019, followed by the swearing in of all the newly-elected officials.
