| Please place on the July 17th Commission agenda, a Referral Item to FCWPC to discuss the Circuit Festival Miami. This is one of the World’s biggest international gay events that joins forces with some of Miami Beach’s biggest and most well-known event producers, who collectively are responsible for major events at Winter Party Festival and the famous White Party Week. Last year’s inaugural Circuit Festival Miami was a huge success, with over 15k attending a series of events held over the Thanksgiving Weekend, the highlight being the Beach Party that took place at Lummus Park. This event will arrive in Miami Beach during Thanksgiving Weekend culminating in the beach party at Lummus Park this partially funds Miami Beach Pride and other non-profit events. Similar to Pride, the FCWPC should consider appropriate fee waivers for an important event for the LGBTQ community locally and internationally.
