SUBJECT:REFERRAL TO THE SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCY COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS MOTION 1 MADE BY THE TRANSPORTATION, PARKING, AND BICYCLE-PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES COMMITTEE ON JUNE 3, 2019 REGARDING INDIAN CREEK PROJECT'S TRAFFIC ISSUES.

ANALYSIS

The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee ( TPBPFC) met on Monday June 3, 2019, and discussed the Indian Creek Project. During this discussion, the Committee addressed the grave issue with traffic, and unanimously passed various motions. SRC should discuss Motion 1:

 

Move barriers to accommodate for two (2) lanes of traffic.
Maintain speed limit signs at 20 mph.
Remove and relocate if possible, parking spaces between 28th and 30th Street, where necessary.
