SUBJECT:REFERRAL TO THE FINANCE AND CITYWIDE PROJECTS COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS SPONSORSHIP OF PRO FOOTVOLLEY TOUR.

RECOMMENDATION

The administration recommends referring the sponsorship of the Pro Footvoller Tour item to FCWPC for discussion. 

ANALYSIS

World Footvolley Classic is requesting fee waivers not to exceed $5,692.50 based on their 2018 finals, and a cash sponsorship in the amount of $25,000.

Application Fee - $250.00
Permit Fee - $250.00
Vehicles Beach Access Passes - $1500.00
Square Footage - $3,250.00
Sales tax on Square Footage - $227.50
Police Admin Fee - $215.00

TOTAL - $5,692.50

 

 

World Footvolley Classic has met with the VCA, and have been told that they qualify for up to $30,000.00 in sponsorship funding through the VCA.  That funding will not become available until October 2019, as per the VCA granting scheduling.

CONCLUSION

The administration recommends the Mayor and the Commission refer this item to the FCWPC for further discussion and evaluation.
