| | While the City has in place rules prohibiting construction work until 10 am on Saturday (and prohibits construction work on Sunday) this currently does not apply to the usage of power tools, maintenance equipment, and leaf blowers as these can be used as early as 8 am. Resident quality of life is important, and the noise generated by this type of equipment is at times similar to that of construction work in loudness. As such, the committee should explore enacting the same restrictions already in place for construction on the usage of power tools, maintenance equipment, and leaf blowers. |
