| On July 6, 2023, the Mayor and City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2023-32670, requesting that the Police/Citizens Relations Committee advise the City Commission on various Spring Break-related public safety issues, and make recommendations on how the City could improve its response to the crowd control and other changes the City faces every Spring Break period.
Please place a discussion item on the December 13, 2023 City Commission agenda, to provide the Police Citizens Advisory Committee with the opportunity to provide our new Mayor and City Commission with an update on its work thus far, and any recommendations the Committee would like to present for the City Commission’s consideration.
