SUBJECT:REFERRAL TO THE LAND USE AND SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE AND THE PLANNING BOARD TO DISCUSS AND CONSIDER A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (LDR'S) OF THE CITY CODE FOR MAIN USE PARKING FACILITIES ON TERMINAL ISLAND. 

BACKGROUND/HISTORY

Currently, under the provisions of Chapter 130, only main use parking structures in the CD-3 district, which are located outside of a local historic district, have a maximum building height of 75 feet. The proposal contemplated in this amendment would allow for a main use parking structure located within the I-1 zoning district, only on Terminal Island, to have a maximum height of 75 feet.
