| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND/HISTORY
| Superfine Miami Beach Art Week is an eco-friendly, tech-enabled, locally-minded alternative to Miami Art Week with a goal of extending Miami Beach's "art season" into the spring. They will be hosting events at the garage located at 1111 Lincoln Rd, and will also be activating between 5 and 7 other spaces around the City.
For this inaugural edition, besides showcasing 100+ artists (60% local to South Florida, 70% women, 25% LGBTQ+) at the fair itself, we'll be working with on- and off-site partners including The Bass Museum, The Miami City Ballet, Showfields, and a number of other Beach companies and organizations. There will also be at least one NFT launched during the fair, and proceeds from ticket sales will benefit local organizations including The Bass and Pridelines. Superfine approached us about hosting Superfine Miami Beach Art Week over the weekend of March 10-13th. We would like to discuss a potential partnership with the City including a modest grant of $20,000 to assist their efforts at programming and ensure success. |
