BACKGROUND/HISTORY

On Thursday, November 11, 2021, the City of Miami Beach (“City”) will host the City’s twelfth annual Veterans Day Parade, which celebrates individuals who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces to defend and protect our country. The City’s Veterans Day Parade draws thousands of residents and tourists to the City to enjoy great food and music, and to celebrate and honor the commitment and sacrifices of our military veterans.

The City of Miami Beach, in collaboration with the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority (MBVCA) is launching the second iteration of the No Vacancy art program scheduled to run from November 18 – December 9th.  No Vacancy is a juried art competition that celebrates artists, provokes critical discourse, and invites the public to experience Miami Beach’s famed hotels as destination art spaces.

T-Mobile USA, Inc. would like to make a sponsorship contribution in the amount of $24,000 to help offset the production costs for both the Citys 2021 Veterans Day Parade and the No Vacancy art program.
