COMMISSION MEMORANDUM |
| | | |
| | | | | | | | TO: | Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Commission | | FROM: | Commissioner Mark Samuelian | | DATE: | January 13, 2021 | | |
| SUBJECT: | REFERRAL TO THE LAND USE AND SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE TO REVIEW CITY CODE SECTION 90-277 CONCERNING ANY CONTAINERS OR DUMPSTERS LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY REQUIRING A PERMIT. |
| | | |
| | | | | | | | ANALYSIS
| A concerned resident has sent emails (see attached) taking issue with City Code section 90-277. Specifically, they highlight that the code as it stands is vague as it pertains to residents conducting construction on their own property as this requires having a dumpster to dispose of debris, which triggers enforcement as part of 90-277. This item asks the committee to review this matter and clarify. |
